Princess Leia

Princess Leia

This Princess Leia figure is easy to print, requiring no supports, MMU/AMS, or glue and is a blast to assemble! It functions the same as my other BIG BRICK models, which are all derived from my base model: Generic Figure.

Printing Instructions:

  • STLs already in suggested printing orientation
  • No supports needed
  • I would always recommend using a brim if you're not certain about the bed adhesion of any of these parts. In particular, the hands and arms can cause issues if there is poor adhesion.

Filament Used In Pictures

This is a list of the filament I used while making this model. I receive no money from you clicking these links, and there may be better choices. This is just what I had available and what I thought looked good! Hope it helps :)

Required Parts/Tools for Assembly:

  • 3D Printed Parts [Filament]
    • Body
      • 1x - Head [Army Beige]
      • 1x - Hair Assembly [Earth Brown]
      • 1x - Torso [Cotton White]
      • 1x - Belt [Silver]
      • 1x - Arms (brim may be helpful, connector portion may print uncleanly, this is okay!) [Cotton White]
      • 1x - Hands - Solid OR Assembly [Army Beige]
      • 1x - Waist Assembly [Cotton White]
      • 1x - Legs [Cotton White]
    • Accessories
      • 1x - Gun Assembly [Charcoal Black]

  • Tools (ALL OPTIONAL)
    • Super Glue (for holding figure in one position/pose if desired)
    • Small Allen Wrench (to twist on part of waist assembly)

Assembly Instructions:

Each of my BIG BRICK models are built from the same base model and the majority of the assembly is the same for each of them. You can find detailed assembly instructions for my models on that base model's designer post here: Generic Figure. You can find all other instructions relating to this model specifically below. Enjoy!

Hair: The hair assembles via a simple twist-lock mechanism. First, insert the lock ring into the lower half of the hair and twist clockwise to lock it in place. It doesn't matter which side of the ring is up or down, it is the same either way. Then align the top of the hair onto the bottom half and twist it into place. Just make sure when you twist it into place everything lines up correctly! There are only 3 different possible positions, so if you can't tell at first, just try one and go from there :)

Weapon: There are two dovetail pins included with the gun. I recommend sliding the longer one into one half of the gun, then slide the other half of the gun onto this pin until both halves are aligned. Finish by inserting the shorter pin into the handle of the gun.

Torso: The silver part simply press fits into the white torso part as seen in the model photos.
